"Boots" Needs a Home: A nice neutered male short hair cat was dumped at the corner of Denny Rd and Flame Tree. He showed up at the Dillards and continues to stay there, although they are not going to adopt him.  I'm feeding him on their deck, with their permission.  We can't adopt him either so he needs a new home!  He's very nice, seems young but isn't a kitten. He's gray and white (a tuxedo cat)and likes to talk.  We call him Boots. If you are interested in him, I can send you a picture. Winter is coming and he needs a home before then. Planning a Celebration, Meeting, Reunion, Party, Wedding, Reception etc.?  Rent the Hawkins Bar Community Center (aka:the Grange) behind Simon Legree's and Paula's Corner  Handicapped Accessible  Heat and Air Conditioning  Kitchen Facilities  Room to Dance  Normal rent is $50 a day or $10 per hour for your event. The rental fee benefits and is payable to the Hawkins Bar Volunteer Fire Department. Contact Charlotte Dodson 629-2409 for rental contract arrangements.
